How It Works

 

Step 1: Submit Your Sample: Send me the first 1,000-1,500 words of your manuscript (usually the opening of Chapter 1). Include:

• Your manuscript in Word doc or Google Doc format

• What type of editing you're interested in (developmental, line editing, copyediting, or proofreading)

• Your book's genre and word count

 

Step 2: I'll Edit Your Sample: Within 5-7 business days, I'll return your sample with:

• Track changes showing my edits

• Comments explaining my suggestions

• A brief note on what I noticed and what your manuscript might need

 

Step 3: You Decide: If you love my editing style and want to move forward, great! If not, no hard feelings—you've gotten free professional feedback on your opening pages.
